2020 Be My Hero 5K

EVENT INFORMATION

Come out and support your local firefighters with a little friendly competition! We are hosting our 5th annual 5K Run/ Walk and kids Mustache Dash at the beautiful Camelback Ranch Spring Training Facility.

This will be a family friendly event so bring the whole crew! There will be firetrucks and fun for the kids. Join us in our goal to promote healthy living in our community and among our firefighters!

Come out and support a very important cause.

They say everyone has a hero and ours are the men and women who served and sacrificed for this country. All proceeds from this event will stay right in our community and assist our local heroes–our Veterans.

The money raised will allow us as firefighters to directly give back to these individuals basic needs of housing, transportation, well being and food/water. Utilizing our firefighter’s selfless hours they give off shift and the funds raised from our race, we would be able to provide immediate assistance for these heroes and get them back on their feet. A small token of our appreciation for those who have fought for our freedom.

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (5K race participants only)
Age groups will be 11 & Under, 12 – 15, 16 – 20, 21 – 30, 31 – 40, 41 – 50, 51-59, and 60 & Over.

Pre- and Post-Race “Runner’s Brunch” (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google) (5K Race Participants only)

Event managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.

A great time being active with your family and friends and a good feeling KNOWING that all run proceeds are going to help a great cause!

Race Day Information

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up will be available beginning at 7:00am at Camelback Ranch Spring Training Facility.
We accept cash, check, or credit card on race day.

Cost of registration on race day will be $45 for the 5K. The Kids Dash is free and is only open to children ages 8 and under and is untimed.
Stroller friendly but due to the nature of the course, pets are not allowed.
