Meet local author and poet Austin Davis!
From 4-5:30pm, Austin will lead a poetry workshop for teens (age 12-18). If you’ve written poetry before, bring a few of your poems to discuss. If you haven’t written poetry before, don’t worry! Austin will lead participants through a few fun writing exercises. Share your work and learn more about the craft in a fun and relaxed space.

From 6-7:30pm, Austin will read from his new book The World Isn’t the Size of Our Neighborhood Anymore as a part of his 2020 Arizona Book Tour. Enjoy an evening of poetry and discussion on a wide variety of topics ranging from love to growing up to mental health to masculinity to the current state of our nation.
