Sunday, January 19, 10-11am: Join Native American naturalist Dave Morris on an easy one-mile trail walk to identify some of the desert plants, shrubs and trees that have helped sustain local native peoples since prehistoric times. Learn some of the uses and traditional stories for these plants through Dave’s entertaining dry humor and wit. **NOTE** Please arrive at least 20 minutes early. This program draws a large audience and there may be a line at the entry window. Bring closed-toe shoes, water, hat and sunscreen. Meet at the flag pole. $7 per vehicle park entry fee.
