Pueblo Grande Museum (PGM) is looking for volunteers to sling mud and help preserve the past! Mudslinging is a stabilization technique for earthen structures. It has been employed for decades to shore up and repair the ancient Hohokam platform mound at Pueblo Grande. The Mudslingers meet on the third Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. during the months of September to May (unless otherwise noted).
Schedule might change due to weather conditions, call the museum at (602) 495-0901 to rsvp with the Volunteer Coordinator. No experience required, just be sure to bring some water, a hat, your sunscreen and your desire to play in the mud!
