Free Shade Tree Workshop – Mesa

EVENT INFORMATION

SRP customers are invited to register for this workshop to receive two free, deserted-adapted shade trees!

At the workshop you will learn where and how to plant the trees around your home for optimal shading and the best methods to keep them growing. Benefits include a lower electricity bill in the summer and improved air quality in the Valley, all without using a lot of water!

After registering online you will get to choose from six of the eligible tree types (options based on availability). After completing the workshop, you will receive instructions on how to pick-up your free trees later on Saturday, Sept. 19 back at Mesa Community College. The trees measure approximately 4-to-6 feet and fit in most cars.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to check-in. The workshop will last approximately 75 minutes. Please allow at least two hours for this event.
